EXCERPT FROM A WORK IN PROGRESS
Happily putting the finishing touches on this piece…I’ll be sure to post a pic of the full painting when its done;)
Two weeks have now gone by and we are in the final days of the Wearable Art of a Forgotten Species Project. I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate all of your support. This Kickstarter Project can not be accomplished on it’s own. So it’s kind supporters like each of you who keep this project moving forward. With less than 12 days left, this project has been an absolute pleasure to include you all in on.
The Launch Party was an absolute success! Thanks go to all of you who were able to attend (or who were there in spirit as well). The models looked so good and it was a pleasure seeing everyone try on the different fabrics. You guys looked amazing!
I wanted to show you a few photos from our show last week which have prompted some of these hand painted scarves up close. Each painting is framed and created individually by the 4Bearance team, so every one is unique and one of a kind. They have been cast from antique frames dated some 80-130 years back. If one of these paintings catch your attention shoot me a link and lets see if we can work out a special offer. Thanks for your time today. I’m truly grateful for all of your support. I hope to have one of these lovely heirlooms wrapped softly around your neck soon. Until then, Resist + Remember.
I also wanted to hear your feedback on what areas you feel the Project could be improved. For instance, do you feel that I should include another garment i.e. t-shirts? I look forward to hearing back from you.
During the Ishan Project we discussed The Elements which combated Chûndra’s influence over mankind. Two of which are The Scarves (which fragrance clarified the minds of the wearer as well as those in the vicinity) and The 4th Element (You The Observer).
Now we find ourselves at a unique point in our story. Soon I’ll be bringing the project live to the streets of San Francisco in the form of an Art Show. But first I’d love to hear your opinion. I’ve been playing with the idea of creating a series of scarves which will have one of the daily paintings of this series blended and painted on it’s surface. Which of the three would you vote to see featured? Saturday, April 26, of next week, I will be randomly selecting the name of one of the commenters to send a free print of the winning piece. All who’ve also shared or tweeted this post will also be given two opportunities instead of one. The winner will also be mentioned on my blog at www.leahsmithson.com/blog.html. I’m really looking forward to hearing from you and I invite you to sign up for my newsletter at: http://www.leahsmithson.com/ishan-project.html. Resist and Remember.
Here’s a quick video of ANEW’s production on the last post for the year long Ishan Project. Thank you all for your continued support.
Just finished an interview with Patrick McCarty on Insight Radio. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Violet sensed them coming as they lurked through the dense woods. Her tiny larvae formed a unique pattern above her which channeled their energies. Violet and the Imposters had already caused terror to a surrounding town. Confusion, more lost memories, and uncertainty abounded. She would make sure Chûndra’s plans would be fully carried out. Enough lives seemed to have been taken. Yet, with the 4bearance approaching, they’d make tonight an exception. She crouches forward to once again gather the energy from her parasitic progeny, but something different was amidst.
Meanwhile, across from the palace, The 4bearance began to arrange the 4 elements. First, Rïden’s arms formed the bridge which traveled over the murky waters Violet poisoned. Koyu’s tree bark ignited a magnetic discharge which awakened the atrophied brain synapses of the Triton soldiers . One by one their minds expanded, and an awareness of their surroundings became a reality.
Netra carefully carried the 2nd element in her arms. As she gave a small charge to Chaen’s heart, it began pulsating and dispersing a fragrance which awakened the masses. Now, fully discharged and combined with the other 3, the potential of its potency would finally be realized.
But we couldn’t get overconfident. I personally crafted each scarf which carried the mixture of dye made from the petals of the Flowers that Feed. Violet still had the power to manipulate the air around us, so we’d need this 3rd Element wrapped around our necks and torso for protection. These fabricated extensions would also serve as deterrents to her agenda.
But each of you, yes you: The 4th Element, The Observer proved worthwhile to the Ishan and mankind. Many of your likes, shares and kind words generated a spark which couldn’t be ignored. You served as a protection. The reason being is that since so many have been alerted by this danger, many minds have not been overtaken by the threat because we all now know that this threat truly exists.
Violet hadn’t taken into consideration such an elaborated plan. The 4 Elements combined clouded the tiny insect’s communication center. Their focus changed as suddenly they no longer craved The Flowers that feed but rather Violet herself. She watched in disgust as The Impostor’s flight patterns became sluggish then hurriedly swarmed her body. Initially there was no pain felt. But then a sharp burst ignited and she felt their tiny limbs begin to harvest her small frame. As she breathed slowly for the last time, her mind wondered where her Queen had been this entire time. She only wanted to please her. How could she…

She stands proudly. It was all a front, though. We can see the terror in her eyes. Finally, the realization of what was happening must have started to click for her. Her counterfeit smile couldn’t mask the disappointment she felt. The world she spent centuries building was crumbling before her, but we are not fooled. Chûndra is not one to give up so easily. Right now she needs us. For some reason, she can’t handle Violet on her own. Violet is a person she recreated and gave power to. For Violet to turn on Chûndra, ripping away all of her power and taking away her throne, all of this has to be horribly embarrassing for Chûndra. Her hatred for Violet is much stronger than her hatred of 4bear. She needs us, so she’s using us. She takes us for granted, though. She won’t expect that we will be using her as well.
Defeated, she laughs and tells us, “You will never be able to stop her. Her symbiotic relationship with those insects has grown too strong. Her tiny ‘Impostors’, as you call them, are too powerful and cannot be stopped by anyone but her. ” And thus we realized what we needed to do to take down Violet and the Impostors.

Olam Ra turns to Anali and continues, “We were going to let you know at the gathering the day she caused the Dark Sleep. Yet Chûndra managed to take over when the solar flare struck.
At birth, you two had different traits. Your features took more after your mother and I. Yet Chûndra’s resembled an ancient human ancestor of your mother. As a baby, her thighs had rough edges similar to our bark. Yet her extremities were more human like. So although you were twins, she took on human characteristics while you took all the Ishan ones.
Your mother and I adored you two. Yet we felt it would be more appropriate for her to be looked after by the scientist at the time. After all, he had already fallen in love with one of our own and his fascination with our magnetic properties had won our trust. Now looking back, I wish we would have done things differently.
Once you two met, we wondered if you’d catch on to your similarities. We were delighted when we saw you two getting along. We had intended on revealing this secret at that gathering. Unfortunately, we weren’t fast enough. Chûndra’s schemes have always gotten the better of her.”

The Third Element was composed from Chaen’s Heart. The soft petals mixed wonderfully with the gouache paint but was also able to create a stimulating ripple in Chûndra’s plans throughout the year. But once they combined with the three other core elements it would cause a catalyst which would stimulate the masses.
Although these positive effects happened, Netra couldn’t help but turn her back away from them. The water began to drip down her face and stained the scarf strapped around her torso. Memories from several years began flooding her memory. She struggled to control her emotions now realizing how close they’d become to the catalyst which would rip apart the Vapor’s influence.

The 4bearance’s foundation consists of 4 key members: Rïden, Netra, Koyu and Anali Q. Each member has perfected the use of their own unique energy soma. These energies would have to be harnessed in unison to stop Violet’s destruction. It’s evident now that she no longer is under Chûndra’s control but has gone rouge. The impostors no longer crawled over her but were now used as instruments or tools of terror.
Preet begins to reason with Rïden that he’d need to construct new elements that would help the True Birds’ cross pollination. This would be one of four core main ingredients in an effort to combat her deadly intent.

A SCENT DORMANT
During the winter, most trees grow dormant. However in California, it seems a flower is always in bloom. I thought of the irony of this as I walked outside today and saw the first bloom of a Pink Magnolia. We had gone through a dry spell which worried us, but now we feel the moisture in the air from the mist of a downpour from earlier today.
The first scent I inhaled struck me as sweet. Yet, this was short lived as a truck drove past me, snatching away the lingering sweetness in the air with Chûndra’s Vapor. Or at least that’s what we’re afraid of. We pulled our scarves over to help shield us from her influence. We found she was telling the truth. Evidently, she had been using several fueling agencies to disguise her secret additive. Now it’s hard not to be a little paranoid every time a vehicle drives by.

A QUEEN UNMARKED
I noticed Violet’s strange disposition tonight. Her demeanor was very aggressive. She kept insisting I repeat to her in detail last night’s post and give more of a thorough explanation about my connection to Anali’s family. I don’t answer to anyone and least of all her. I am Queen. As I laughed in her face, I watched her turn away frustrated. So naive. I think she actually thought she could win my love. I already know how to love. I just don’t trust anyone. At least anyone I can’t control.
Interestingly enough, I’ve noticed several of my Tritons missing this week. Coincidence? I think not.~Chûndra

THINGS THAT SPARKLE
Where was I? Oh, right. Yes, so just in case you didn’t understand my post yesterday, I am saying Anali’s father is also my father. Now you see why I am saying that everything that girl has is actually mine. You also see why it is important for me to figure out how to get magneto-sensor powers from the Ishan. Those powers are wasted on them. My mother was half Ishan. My father is completely Ishan. That power is my birthright, and I know what to do with it.
All the pain and suffering of the ones I experimented on will not go to waste, including Aram. In fact, they should be honored to have been sacrificed for the sake of my plan, because it will lead to a better world. In the meantime, if I can’t have the power, I will control those that do. Thanks to Koyu and Rïden for waking the Ishan for me. I needed them awake. You see, I can appreciate others and admit my mistakes. But remember, I will not be denied power over them. ~ Chûndra

A PECULIAR SHADE
Speaking of people I’m close to, you’re probably wondering why I would be close to Birdface, as he was responsible for assaulting my father. You see, my so-called father, that scientist, was in fact my stepfather, and a terrible one at that. The only reason he let me stay around after the death of my mother was because he promised her he would take care of me. He was so desperate to prove to her his worth, but every time he saw me, it was a reminder of how much he could never measure up. He was never worthy of her. He could never be. My mother and I were always going to be different, and better than he was. I challenge Anali to ask her parents who my father was.
Leah’s story about how Birdface took revenge on my stepfather was a bit twisted. I guess she tried. She should have come to the sources. Is she scared or something? We don’t bite…we’ll at least, I don’t. Who knows what that girl is thinking. Well, Birdface did retaliate against the scientist, but he was trying to protect me. My stepfather became bitterly jealous with me, especially when he found out I had become close with the Ishan people. He often would take out his frustrations out on Birdface. That particular day, after he was finished with Birdface, he turned his attention toward me. Birdface and I had become close. We would take care of each other since I was a child. So he protected me and ended our nightmare. He is more family to me than anyone. Even my blood.~ Queen Chûndra

IN MEMORY OF
“She was truly like an only child. Kalese had normally been very observant. Yet, it seems she lost focus. What is this feeling I have now that she’s gone? She would’ve seen a monster approaching, which makes me think this must have been done by someone she knew. I don’t understand who could do something that horrible.
4bear is too small in their thinking to understand they aren’t the only ones who’ve experienced pain. I have endured a tremendous amount in this long life I’ve lived. With this wisdom, I have figured out a wonderful solution everyone should benefit from. This is what my Vapor is bioengineered to fix. It will eliminate all injustices done like this one, because it will destroy the will to do such things. You see, the 4bearance wants to put an end to my solution, but have they given you any other options? I’ll answer for you. No, they haven’t. Do not Resist me.”-Chûndra, Triton Queen

Chundra has purported that her vapor is like a veil, a protection. Even though we have removed the main source, she is not one to give up easy. She will try to figure another way around it. In the meantime, it’s been reported that she has already built up quite a supply. There is still danger in the air. We have to breathe, but we also must keep thinking, reasoning, and creating. There was no warning when it happened, Olom Ra just remembers how everything seemed to turn white. It happened at Ishandria’s yearly festival. Anali and Chûndra hadn’t seen each other for a year or two at that point. We all had tried to reach out to her, but she became too hard-hearted. It was a difficult time. Many Ishan in the proceeding months had been getting sick. What we thought was a mysterious illness caused many of their branches to deteriorate. None of our doctors could figure out the cause. We never would have suspected that the woman we loved as our child could have been involved.

The San Joaquin River ran drier this year. This drought has been one of the driest we’ve seen in over a 100 years, even before the time when mankind’s records began, so say many potamologists.
There is another kind of drought resonating around Chûndra’s lair today. It feeds Violet’s obsession for her, and Violet’s body still serves as a cradle for the larvae. As she hides in the shadows of the hallway waiting for Kalese, the larvae begin moving excitedly upon her suggestion. Kalese turns the corner, then she begins feeling a tingling sensation crawling along her left leg. She brushed off the irritation when suddenly a sharp pain struck her in her abdomen. She begins to panic now grasping for breath. As her vision finally adjust to the darkness, her consciousness wavers. And just before she passes out, the last thing she sees is Violet’s dark grin.

“As you know, Chûndra’s crown gives her a certain amount of power,” Anali continues. “She has come to rely on it quite a bit. If there is a way to alter magnetism the way the geomagnetic storms alter the earth’s magnetism, this could give us an edge. It would weaken Chûndra so that we could overtake her.”

“So what you’re saying,” I asked, “is that the Ishan had been wakened by the magnetism from the earth’s atmosphere?”
“Right,”she answers.”Yet, we also selected several humans to join the 4bearance. These individuals had come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from common farmers, powerful poets and artists. A few came from wealthy backgrounds as well.
Waking the Ishan was a gradual process however. So, across the planet, we collectively laid the rare and precious salt deep down in the earth. The Guardians protected these minerals until the next solar flare in 1988.”

(Cont. from DAY 320) Anali continues, “I told you that both the dark sleep and the awakening had been marked by two storms. The storms I referred to were not the product of rain or thunder. These storms were created by solar flares.”
“What do you mean by ‘solar’?,” I ask.
“Solar flares create geomagnetic storms.” She continues. “During these storms, the earth’s magnetic field is disrupted. During this event, the same high-energy particles that make the Aurora Borealis most brilliant are the same particles that disrupt the magnetic field that dance through our limbs. As Ishan, our bodies are extremely sensitive to this change. We suspect that this was critical to us going into the Dark Sleep. So Koyu figured that this was also critical to us waking up.

Koyu was the first victim to fall prey to her new hybrid formula. We had been in the laboratory working when he started repeating himself over and over. We figured some of the nano tech must have bypassed the vents and seeped into the cracks of this room. And then he started transforming. I could see his limbs shake hard, then tremble. His eyes turned a purple, violet color. While we all stood stunned, Anali reacted quickly. She snatched the scarf from my hand and wrapped it snugly around his neck. I was afraid to see his response, because the paint hadn’t quite been allowed to dry.
We watch solemnly as his convulsions begin to slow down, and his focus returns. He rolls over and stands up. Embarrassed, he grits his teeth, now that he had regained consciousness. He couldn’t believe that after all of these years of dodging, he almost succumbed to one of Chûndra’s devices.

Jess and The Slayer arrived early tonight in this small town. They had been commissioned by 4bear to bring Jeth back. Time had not been on our side. The Vapor had spread so quickly and it was quite evident that mankind’s memory is slowly dwindling.
To devise a strategy against the Vapor, it was necessary to regroup.
The Slayer looks in the distance and sights Jeth leaning against a pole, beaten. It seemed as if he had just come from some battle and had been fighting the chemicals in the air around him with his mask. She also notices that his pocket square no longer contained the tincture or cure he normally carried with him at all times. Then slowly, the glass around his left eye case begins to cracks. His hand reaches the mask as it begins to shatter and glass chips fly high.

It was damp and cold. Yet, Aram needed to take a walk to clear her mind of all that’s happened this week. She throws a scarf around her shoulders as she exits the foyer. She then starts to calculate their next step. This current predicament was irritating to say the least.
But this feeling of defeat brought back memories of the time Chûndra would torment her at weeks on end. It was as though she were reliving the feelings of helplessness she felt so long ago. It was ironic that with the few flowers that remained from Chaen’s heart, they would have the key to the antidote needed to combat this vapor. But we only have a few flowers on hand and Chûndra’s Vapor was becoming stronger than ever. We need to figure out how to take these few flowers to create a tincture to keep 4bear’s minds open, so that we’d be able free the rest of the world be4 it is too late.

She walks into the lab to inspect Violet. Violet’s larvae shed their layers to expose her face. Violet then nods towards her which confirms their plans have been successful.
Grinning to herself, she couldn’t help but gloat a little. It seemed as though everything had been going exactly as planned. Chûndra relishes in all of the activity that’s happened within the past few months. This world, she’s influenced has been strategically maneuvered according to her desire. Obliterating those troublesome flowers was more than an accomplishment.
Days earlier, Chûndra’s minion sensed 4bear‘s presence in her palace before they entered.
“It was too easy.” she whispers to her droids. “They actually felt that they could control my creation. I bet they’re just now realizing I manipulated them the entire time.”

A REFLECTIVE RECONNAISSANCE
Devastated, 4bear stares into the empty nursery. This is where the antidote to mankind’s slavery under Chûndra used to be. All that hard work…gone. Anali looks down heartbroken, but too angry to cry. She can’t give up, though. She won’t let them give up. Quitting wasn’t in her vocabulary. Even if they have to start over, the Ishan and mankind had too much at stake. She considers their predicament carefully. Although these creatures have eaten all of the remaining flowers, there still was one alternative they could turn to.

AN EMPTIED PROCESSION
Their tongues begin licking the air as they search for some trace of its trail. Their flight pattern edged towards the metal case for an opening. Yet none was found. This wouldn’t perturb them however. It’s antennae rub together feverishly then it spits out this acid which pierces through the thick metallic walls. Once inside it feeds drunkenly on the remaining flowers.
As the last flower is devoured, the air outside grew stiff.
4bear first acknowledged this change when the ground shook violently. This was no ordinary quake. Netra then watches angrily as these little creatures fly past her.

Meanwhile, in an adjacent room, something had been bothering Netra. The tapping she’d heard last night really disturbed her. Something unusual was happening. She summons a Guardian to accompany her as she returns to the laboratory for an inspection. But as they slide the door open she hears glass scratching the floor. Once open, she realizes that the bell jar had been smashed on the ground. There was also evidence that somehow this Impostor replicated itself. Several of its tiny hairs illuminated across the concrete floors.
As Netra curiously looks at the pattern they’ve created on the floor, she realizes that these creatures’ mind’s were not normal.

A PARADIGM SIFTING
For weeks now they’d been studying her movements. The 4bearance watches this young woman as she plays her stereo. She displayed creative prowess with her fingers and her viewpoint had been so open. She would’ve been an exceptional candidate to join their team; more than worthy.
But regrettably, there wasn’t much that could be done for her at this point. The Bird Face Crew had already surrounded her modest home. 4bear watches in disgust as she succumbs to the affects of Chûndra’s vapor. She first shudders as it enters into her cerebellum. Then it’s absorbed throughout her body’s central nervous system.
Despite a new year beginning tomorrow, the right part of her brain, and her free will sifted into this dormant state.

THE SCENT OF ANTIQUITY
Anali and Preet would need to sneak out before Violet realizes their presence. As they begin slowly backing out the room, Preet knocks over a glass case which breaks nosily into pieces on the marble floor. Then a dull fragrance was unleashed. Its’ scent knocks Preet on her back unconscious. This encasement contained fragments from a branch which had been tested on in this laboratory. Anali walks over to find Preet sleeping rather soundly.
Meanwhile, across the room, Violet senses some commotion happening near the entrance. She had been so focused on the dark energy she was gathering from the Hummingbird Impostors, she hadn’t noticed her visitors.

The temperature in the room suddenly dropped. Anali sees these tiny impostors flying around her branches inspecting them for any petals. Their curious nature was somewhat whimsical. Their flight patterns so clumsy and hysterical even. But the threat of Violet still being active brought her back to reality. As she turns to check on her she notices Violet’s body begins to glow brightly. Something was definitely up. She didn’t think that Preet and her could afford to find out what either. They’d have to escape for now. Violet was too powerful in this state.

A putrid smell became more apparent as they continued cautiously down the hallway. This scent along with the motion they heard behind this laboratory door where the Impostors had been flying was more than disturbing. As they watch them fly into the shoot, their flexible bodies shed a green substance which oozes down the door.
Inside, they could see the flying insect’s motions more clearly now. They fly around in their drunken fashion in a circle over a structure which resembled a chair. But this structure seems to inflate and deflate, pulsating as if it were drawing strength from the energy found inside of the Moth’s belly. As Anali and Preet quietly move in closer, they watch in terror as the structure arches to the side, and then forms itself upright. It was now evident what this structure was. It not only served as a hive for the Impostors, but there was a symbiotic relationship they had with some life form underneath. Suddenly they noticed, the larvae from its’ dome begin to creep backwards forming structures like scales. This leaves a hole in the dome, revealing a soft complexion of a young woman’s face.
“No, it can’t be!” Anali whispers. “Violet. Why?”

A GLIMMER IN HER PERIPHERAL
They watched the drones exit the doors then Anali slid through an adjacent window. Once she crawls through the tight space, she notices a natural light cast a mysterious reflection on a wall nearby. She was amazed that despite the large amount of natural light coming in through the windows, the palace still remained very dark. She still would need to use caution so as not to be seen tracking through Chûndra’s new lair. Although her guards weren’t as plentiful as her last palace, they were definitely armed and trained for combat.
As she slowly climbs the staircase she first notices a familiar branch which had grown alongside the wall. She then searches for where it had originated. Something about the texture of this wood seemed so familiar to her. But it was as though there were two trees intertwined that had been growing. In the hallway, she sees a glass case. Once she laid her eyes on the source, the impact of what she saw knocked her to the ground.

(Con’t from Day 293) The factors that cause aging are still much of a mystery to science. The Ishan’s genetic code is not much different than human. Something in the Ishan’s genetic code tells it to continue with it’s normal adult function longer than the average human. Therefore, they tend to live longer. Human’s have that capacity as well. We just can’t tap into it yet.
Anali continues, “There is a cave that goes deep in the earth. There, a tree grows in a dark cave, which is pretty remarkable because it’s able to grow in the dark. It’s sap has many healing properties for the Ishan. To humans though, it tends to have a fatal nature.
“Chûndra, very depressed, got lost one day. It actually was right before she ended our friendship. She found the tree and brought the sap back home. I think she knew what the sap was and the detrimental affect it would have on her. However, she took some anyway. When we found her, she was very sick to the point of death. In fact, her heart stopped for three minutes. We used our electromagnetic powers to stimulate it to start beating again. She lived, and continues living. And I have an idea her new place is by the old eucalyptus where her mother was buried.”
In addition to locating the eucalyptus where Chûndra’s mother was buried, the impostors pictured here also became an important factor in finding her location. They had been feeding the entire day when Preet stumbled upon them.

He had thought the world of her. In their favorite spot, under the eucalyptus trees, he’d tell her of his love for her. But his insecurities made him feel as though he was never good enough. Over time, he’d allowed his obsessions to get the best of him. She had come from a measure of refinement in Ishandria. This didn’t matter to Vale though. She had fallen in love with his creativity and ingenuity.
This wasn’t enough for him. Chûndra’s father spent years studying, dissecting, and calculating a cure which would allow him to age like his beloved — gracefully. Yet, his experiments turned him mad. She tried to reason with him. She’d been in love with him — his inner self. Not his outer flesh which eventually wrinkled.
But in his constant experiments his greater concern became more outstandingly apparent. What he truly sought was not only longevity, but power. He was fed up with the way the way common folk would look at him. He desired the superiority that should be given only to those who rightfully deserved it. He taught this to his only child. As the years progressed he’d feed on her desire for prominence. Her thirst for what belonged to her.

A PORTRAIT OF HER MOTHER AS DESCRIBED BY CHÛNDRA
Anali continues, “I remember Chûndra mentioning the connection she shared with her mother.
Chûndra cried when she mentioned how delicately she would brush her cheek with her limbs. She was born with a frown which wrinkled across her brow. However, whenever she was in her mothers presence, she’d wipe the wrinkle away with a soft magnetic touch. The energy would course through her system igniting something voltaic within her.
But it was her father’s (See DAY 28) obsession for her mother which made Chûndra’s spark turn sour.”

They appoint me to serve as secretary as the 4bearance sits down as a group to discuss this serious matter.
Anali: “This is a disaster. She’s destroyed the majority of our crops. What’s not completely destroyed has been diseased by Chûndra’s infestation.”
Koyu: “Fortunately, the Sower has given us a few additional seedlings which we’ve been successful in hiding.”
Jess folds her arms across the marble table then asks, “What I don’t understand is why we can’t find out where the vapor originates.”
Aram: “But didn’t you work there spying on her palace? Why don’t you know her whereabouts, Jess?”
Jess: “This is how things work in her palace—Chûndra trust no one. Each of her drones has their own individual assignments. No one knows what each other is doing. My specific division never allowed me to get close to the vapor’s origin. Chûndra is a deception specialist. That’s why she’s been so successful in keeping her secrets secret. She doesn’t let her left hand know what her right hand is doing.”

Preet stretches her branches and absorbs the solar energy generated from the Sun’s core. Temperatures in this Mediterranean climate had changed drastically. But one thing had remained the same: The 4bearance’s position in this battle had been compromised. She contorts her body once again as she considers her next movement. Then a pattern begins to form around her chest which spreads onto her limbs.
