Update Regarding The Wearable Art Project + Your Opinion

Two weeks have now gone by and we are in the final days of the Wearable Art of a Forgotten Species Project. I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate all of your support. This Kickstarter Project can not be accomplished on it’s own. So it’s kind supporters like each of you who keep this project moving forward. With less than 12 days left, this project has been an absolute pleasure to include you all in on.

The Launch Party was an absolute success! Thanks go to all of you who were able to attend (or who were there in spirit as well). The models looked so good and it was a pleasure seeing everyone try on the different fabrics.  You guys looked amazing!

I wanted to show you a few photos from our show last week which have prompted some of these hand painted scarves up close. Each painting is framed and created individually by the 4Bearance team, so every one is unique and one of a kind. They have been cast from antique frames dated some 80-130 years back. If one of these paintings catch your attention shoot me a link and lets see if we can work out a special offer. Thanks for your time today. I’m truly grateful for all of your support. I hope to have one of these lovely heirlooms wrapped softly around your neck soon. Until then, Resist + Remember.

I also wanted to hear your feedback on what areas you feel the Project could be improved. For instance, do you feel that I should include another garment i.e. t-shirts?  I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best,

Leah

ANEW

When the ground shook we all ran towards its source. We climbed the stairway and immediately saw Chûndra sitting in Netra’s chair. This explained the sudden movement of the ground. The magnetism she received dripped from her body like wet paint as she gripped the arms of the chair. She now understood the full nature of the Ishan’s powers, she could even feel her potential growing bright deep within her extremities. A Dark energy began pounding the ground. As she stood, her powers had reached their limits. She reaches out to strike 4bear with this new wave of electricity. As she began building momentum to release a sharp burst of energy, our ears began to ring. The only way I can describe it is as if 100,000 crystal bells were ringing all at once. We close our eyes as she released the massive ball of energy into our direction. All we could do was wait for the impact. There was no where to run.

At that moment, Rïden steps in front of us. He firmly fixes his gaze on the sphere of impending doom. Just as I hear the sizzle of Anali’s hair, I ,ever so slightly, opened one eye to find the ball suspended in mid air. Rïden was countering Chûndra with his control over her newfound powers. After all, they came from him.

Meanwhile, Netra and Aram make eye contact with The Forecaster. Immediately, he recognizes them. Although he and Chûndra had been outnumbered, his aim would offset any deficiency they encountered. He touches the scar on his face which was the painful reminder of the loss he had experienced. Then, in a fluid movement, he reaches back for his quiver, and his hood falls backwards. Instantly Olam Ra recognizes this face. “It’s YOU!” He screams. This shakes The Forecaster, but only briefly. He’d been waiting for this opportunity for too long. These two would be pinned properly. As he pulls the arrow back, Rïden and Koyu begin readying themselves for battle.

Chûndra just getting over the shock of her defeat, abruptly stops him. She says. “We’ve worked to hard to lose our senses. This is a losing battle. We need time to build our infrastructure. There will be other opportunities. Don’t worry.”

As they cautiously pace backwards, somehow Chûndra manipulates their cellular structure as a spiraling cloud wraps around them. Anali calls out to her, “Wait. It doesn’t have to end like this. We understand that you have gone through hardships. Better decisions should have been made. Why don’t we try to work it out?” Chûndra’s eyes peeked through the smoke, looking longingly at the family she never had. Then, something like lightning strikes the air in the small room which creates a mysterious cloud that quickly makes them disappear.

Now that the danger has left our lair, we tracked through each room to take inventory of the furniture built from Rïden’s limbs. Even though it had been a close call, they didn’t make it out with any of the pieces as far as we could see. Evidently, Chûndra and The Forecaster had searched through various rooms to locate her crown. Their attempts had been futile, though.

Outside, Spring leaves sprouted early this year. Slowly the effects of the Chûndra’s Sufna vapor are lessening. Chaen’s flowers pulsate to the same rhythm of the Ishan’s limbs. We propagated Chaen’s flowers with the blossom from Rïden’s furniture.

True birds that fly high have aided in this renewal as our atmosphere improves as well. Since spring is close, they will have the help of all of the insects and animals that naturally help with pollination. Then all plants will soon have the capacity to filter the air from Sufna. This coupled with our scarves has greatly strengthened the healing power of the flowers that feed.

Looking back at the past 365 Days, so much has happened. As The 4th Element, you, the Observers, and 4bear have managed to keep the world from total submergence under Chûndra’s Vapor. Thank you. Even though we have won the battle, we still have our work cut out in order to win this war. Opportunities will present themselves. Stay tuned. Don’t forget. Resist + Remember.

The Scent of Antiquity

THE SCENT OF ANTIQUITY

Anali and Preet would need to sneak out before Violet realizes their presence.  As they begin slowly backing out the room, Preet knocks over a glass case which breaks nosily into pieces on the marble floor. Then a dull fragrance was unleashed. Its’ scent knocks Preet on her back unconscious. This encasement contained fragments from a branch which had been tested on in this laboratory. Anali walks over to find Preet sleeping rather soundly.

Meanwhile, across the room, Violet senses some commotion happening near the entrance.  She had been so focused on the dark energy she was gathering from the Hummingbird Impostors, she hadn’t noticed her visitors.

A QUIET INTERLOCK

They begin trailing the Impostors, but Anali still was pained at the heart from seeing her parents. Before she turned this corner she turned back to take one last look. But as she sees them, she notices her mother no longer is slack jawed. Her mouth is now closed and focused. Despite her burns and agony it seems that she now is able to gather her energy to lock eye contact with her seed. Anali starts to feel the connection they once shared. It was as though her mom was infusing energy into her central nervous system.

A Habitat Made For Hiding

A HABITAT MADE FOR HIDING

After finding the old eucalyptus where Chûndra’s mother was buried, we expected to find her hideout. Nothing. So, 4bear devised a scheme to gather a few of The Flowers that Feed to bait the creatures she created to mimic our True Birds, so that they will lead us right to her. As we watch them flutter around the few petals, their tiny tongues begin licking the nectar from the flower’s base. Once their appetites were satisfied, they slowly drift away into the shadows. We began following them from a safe distance. These moths fly haphazardly into surrounding objects in a drunken style inebriated by the nectar.

As they dive deeper into the cave’s empty darkness, their wings echo against its’ walls creating a soft buzzing noise. Rïden had been the closest to them, but he underestimated how slick the cave’s floor had been. He slipped and broke one of his left branches. Once he gathered his bearings, his gaze drifts in front of him to a dim light. “Is that a window straight ahead?” he asks us.

A Portrait of Her Mother as Described by Chûndra

A PORTRAIT OF HER MOTHER AS DESCRIBED BY CHÛNDRA

Anali continues, “I remember Chûndra mentioning the connection she shared with her mother.

Chûndra cried when she mentioned how delicately she would brush her cheek with her limbs. She was born with a frown which wrinkled across her brow. However, whenever she was in her mothers presence, she’d wipe the wrinkle away with a soft magnetic touch. The energy would course through her system igniting something voltaic within her.

But it was her father’s (See DAY 28) obsession for her mother which made Chûndra’s spark turn sour.”

A Contemptuous Scent

A CONTEMPTUOUS SCENT

(Cont. from DAY 271) The noise had stopped entirely now. Then Aram alerts a Guardian to inspect this incident. Details generated through electric waves  have reported that the East Coast has now been affected. The holes seemed to have enlarged themselves and have spread to the plant’s root system. Aram, Netra, and Anali all watch in horror as the petals first fall. Then it seems as though it’s stamen begins to deteriorate, and we could no longer smell the fragrance. It’s sweet texture was replaced with a putrid scent.

A Tethered Thought

A TETHERED THOUGHT

A succession of images passes through her mind while sleeping. It was not something magical or any kind of omen. Sometimes the mind tries to fix things even while we are asleep. And that’s exactly what happened. It was so simple. All attempts to capture the bird failed. The reason why is probably because they kept putting all of the seed in the same place. They would need a different approach. And thanks to the intel from 4bear’s insider, she now knew how it needed to be done.
